Here’s a marketing opportunity for Vermont’s non-profit arts organizations: promote your series, gallery, theater or other arts events at The Big E. The Eastern States Exposition is New England’s largest fair, a 17-day extravaganza with top entertainment, shopping, agriculture, animals, a daily parade and lots and lots of food. The Arts Council will be attending September 25-27 to promote Vermont as a cultural destination. We’ll have a display in Vermont Pavilion which hosts as many as 140,000 visitors a day. The Arts Council will staff a display area in the VT Pavilion at the Big E during the weekend of September 25 - 27. We will accept up to 250 pieces (brochures, postcards, pamphlets, stc.) per organization. Any left over materials will be added to the Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing booth or recycled. All materials must be delivered to the Arts Council office by Friday, September 23, 2009.
